Conferences

Each year, ICEA sponsors a wide variety of programs and conferences of interest to Chamber professionals. During February/March, ICEA holds its annual winter conference & awards luncheon. This two-day conference offers quality programs and speakers designed to increase the skills and knowledge of our members. Members often have the opportunity for a ‘bonus’ pre-conference session that targets key volunteers and chief staff members.

We pull the network together again for either a summer or fall statewide conference. In recent years, we have partnered with neighboring state associations for this conference, offering members a great opportunity to expand the peer network. This summer/fall conference is typically a three-day event, offering quality programs and speakers designed to increase the skills and knowledge of our members.

On alternating years, the Hoosier Chamber Academy is held in the Indianapolis-area. Started in 2003, the Hoosier Chamber Academy consists of four one-day sessions that brings a high quality program on chamber management “essentials” geared for today’s chamber executives and professional staff.

ICEA also offers members a one-day ‘Building Membership’ workshop that features unique table rotations to share with peers ideas specifically targeting membership growth and retention.
