Each year, ICEA recognizes the “best and the brightest” in the chamber industry through awards. 

Executive of the Year: This recognition is given to the Chamber executive who has had an outstanding year.  The exec of the year is someone who has excelled in the chamber profession. Nominees write an essay sharing the reasons why the candidate should be selected as the Executive of the Year. This is our highest award of distinction for an individual that recognizes professional excellence - "the best of the best" - of chamber chief executives.   The recipients of this award are chamber chief executives whose performance and commitment to our industry and their local communities are exceptional.  It is our recognition of the “best of the best” among Indiana Chamber professionals.

Chamber of the Year: The Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award recognizes organizational excellence in chambers of commerce and provides a unique benchmarking opportunity to assess a chamber’s strengths. The award is based on the U.S. Chamber’s accreditation process for local chambers and highlights accomplishments in the areas of leadership/governance, finance, advocacy and membership development. Members of ICEA in good standing during the year the award is presented are eligible to apply. Non-ICEA chambers are not eligible but may submit exhibition entries.
