Why belong? - Membership with ICEA provides targets easy access to important tools developed with your professional growth in mind. Here’s a brief outline of the resources that become yours when you invest in an ICEA membership:

Annual Conferences — the annual Winter Conference & Awards Luncheon is a two-day event held in Indianapolis; the summer/fall event is a three-day conference hosted by a local chamber that geographically take members to different locations across the state.

Salary and Benefit Information – periodic surveys of salaries and fringe benefits allows for good comparative data that is available by size of chamber.

Career Opportunity Bulletin - members may circulate available chamber positions to local chambers at no charge. Available positions can also be posted on the www.iceaonline.com website to share employment opportunities available in chambers throughout Indiana.

Membership Directory - a listing of all association members with addresses, phone and fax numbers and other information - a great networking tool.

Professional Recognition - ICEA recognizes outstanding performance by chamber executives and staff through a number of awards presented at the annual Winter conference.

Reduced Fees - charges for electronic resources and registration for conferences and training opportunities are significantly reduced to ICEA members.

Resource Library - numerous files (both hard copy and electronic) of up-to-date chamber information are available to assist in the areas of leadership development; membership; programs; governance; and staff growth. The resource library is accessible to members at no-charge.

Scholarships - awarded to chamber executives and staff to assist with costs associated with the registration to the association’s annual conferences and other professional development opportunities; the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute program; ACCE Convention; and other professional development opportunities that arise.

Senior Executives Roundtable - ICEA offers a special professional development opportunity for chamber CEOs with more than 10 years experience in chamber work. The Veterans group meets in special session at each conference event.
