The Board of Directors of the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce recently announced the selection of Jeff Emsweller as its Executive Director. Emsweller will replace Jennifer Sturges, who is leaving the position after six years in order to return to Law School. She plans to return to Greensburg to practice law.

Emsweller assumed his duties on July 6, but has the benefit of working with Sturges throughout the month of July to ensure a smooth transition.

The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is a member-oriented organization and Emsweller knows the importance of providing leadership and service to current members. One of his main priorities will be to increase membership which will benefit the entire Greensburg and Decatur County community.

“Anticipating the current and future needs of our members and the community is very important,” Emsweller said. “Over the years, the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce has developed a successful track record of implementing programs and services that have been very beneficial to the community. I look forward to assisting the chamber and its members in even more successful programs.”
